Cranberry-Walnut Celebration Bread

Dry ingredients in the bowl & mixing in the liquids...
On low speed - until the mixture forms a ball of dough...

On a floured surface, adding the cranberries & then chopped walnuts...

All combined...
2 hour fermentation at room temperature...& dough doubles in size...
Formed into a log, brushed with egg wash & proofed for 90 minutes at room temperature...
Dough doubles in size in pan...add more egg wash & bake at 325 degrees for about 50 minutes...rotating pan half way through baking time...
Beautiful golden brown on the outside...
Beautiful texture & crumb on the inside...
Wonderful toasted as well!
**I halfed the recipe & made only one loaf instead of the much prettier double braid. A very tasty bread!

  3. Beautiful loaf! Unlike mine which toppled over into a weird shape. But it was still delicious. Your pics are taking me back and making me want to make it again!
